Install BPMediaNode Desktop
Before you start
- Windows or macOS machine — Linux Desktop is not offered.
- Prefer the stable channel on Download.
- ShowServer is not required to install or open MediaNode. Pair later only if you want Interactives / WebRTC on the same show.
Windows
- Open Download and take the primary Windows installer (x64), or pick ia32 from Other platforms if you need it.
- Run the setup.exe and finish the installer prompts.
- Launch BPMediaNode from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
- Confirm the desktop window opens — this is MediaNode’s own UI, not a browser tab.
macOS
- Open Download and take the matching DMG (Apple Silicon or Intel).
- Open the DMG and install as prompted.
- Launch BPMediaNode.
- Confirm the desktop window opens.
After install
- Route a source → sink on the desktop A/V crosspoint (NDI, streams, AirPlay, Cast, and more). See BPMediaNode docs.
- Optional: connect to a reachable ShowServer when you want Interactives or WebRTC on the same show graph.
- Optional Unreal movie path: MediaNode setup (UnrealRTC).
