01 · Install → open UI

Get Community Free running and open http://localhost:7474. A fresh install loads Default — that is enough for this step.

Before you start

  • A machine that can run BPShowServer (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
  • Grab BPShowServer Community Free 1.0.190 from Download.

Steps

  1. Open Download and get the package for your OS (Win Setup.exe / MSI, Mac .dmg, or Linux .tar.gz).
  2. Install or launch BPShowServer:
    • Windows: Setup.exe (or MSI), then launch.
    • macOS: open the .dmg, install, launch. (CDN install.sh is macOS-only — not for Linux.)
    • Linux: extract the tarball, cd into the extracted dir, run ./BPShowServer. No install.sh in the Linux package — do not sudo ./install.sh.
  3. Open http://localhost:7474 (port 7474). You should land on Overview.
  4. On Overview, confirm host health is green and the show name is Default.
  5. Click through the console once: Overview → I/O → Control → Automation → AI → System. Navigation check only.
  6. Return to Overview. Empty-or-sparse I/O is fine.

Optional: if a show list appears and lists Blue Lamp — Theater Show, you may load it — not required for 01.
