01 · Install → open UI
Get Community Free running and open http://localhost:7474. A fresh install loads Default — that is enough for this step.
Before you start
- A machine that can run BPShowServer (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
- Grab BPShowServer Community Free 1.0.190 from Download.
Steps
- Open Download and get the package for your OS (Win Setup.exe / MSI, Mac
.dmg, or Linux.tar.gz). - Install or launch BPShowServer:
- Windows: Setup.exe (or MSI), then launch.
- macOS: open the
.dmg, install, launch. (CDNinstall.shis macOS-only — not for Linux.) - Linux: extract the tarball,
cdinto the extracted dir, run./BPShowServer. Noinstall.shin the Linux package — do notsudo ./install.sh.
- Open http://localhost:7474 (port 7474). You should land on Overview.
- On Overview, confirm host health is green and the show name is Default.
- Click through the console once: Overview → I/O → Control → Automation → AI → System. Navigation check only.
- Return to Overview. Empty-or-sparse I/O is fine.
Optional: if a show list appears and lists Blue Lamp — Theater Show, you may load it — not required for 01.
