Holiday lighting I/O

Seasonal and holiday lighting attaches to the same show graph as Action Deck and cartwall SFX. Drive RGB(W) endpoints and show-protocol consumers from the cues your crew already runs.

Use-case story: Holiday & seasonal lighting.

Twinkly + WLED — realtime RGB(W) endpoints

Twinkly and WLED are first-class realtime RGB(W) endpoints controlled from the show.

You canDetail
Name both togetherSay Twinkly and WLED — the pair is the product story.
Drive endpoints from the graphCues, automation, Action Deck, OSC / HTTP / MCP / CLI.
See them on OverviewI/O strip when online; configure under I/O.

Endpoint control is show-graph RGB(W) — cues and looks you own from Action Deck, automation, and OSC / HTTP / MCP / CLI.

Holiday rooms still run cartwall SFX and GO / STOP on the same graph — lights are endpoints on that graph.

Falcon Player / xLights — Art-Net + sACN

Falcon Player (FPP) and xLights stay reachable over Art-Net and sACN.

  • Bring universes online under I/O when those consumers need pixels or props from the same show timing as Action Deck cues.
  • Same show clock as the rest of the graph — works via Art-Net / sACN from BPShowServer.

Custom bridges (Plugin Builder)

Need a Light-O-Rama bridge (or another custom controller path)?

  1. Open AI → Plugin Builder (/plugin-builder).
  2. Ask AI to script the bridge for your site.
  3. Review and own the result under Automation.

Twinkly + WLED stay first-class RGB(W) in I/O; Plugin Builder is how you extend the graph when you need a custom path. Details: AI · Plugin Builder.

Suggested connect order

  1. Confirm UI session on Overview.
  2. Under I/O, attach Twinkly and WLED as realtime RGB(W) endpoints when the room needs them.
  3. Optionally enable Art-Net / sACN for Falcon Player / xLights consumers.
  4. Bind cues from Control / Action Deck or Automation — same graph as cartwall SFX → network audio device.
  5. Walk the sample path at Blue Lamp Theater when learning: Getting Started.
